It has been a while (read: ages) after my last log in. But now I'm trying to be active again.

Shortly some things I have done:

- Spring 2009: I went to Germany and had the greatest holiday ever! Thanks to my awesome friends who were so helpful and generous and taking me everywhere by car.

- Summer 2009: It was a festival summer for me. I went to 4 music festivals in Finland (which is more than ever before) and I was also working in Bruce Springsteen gig. I saw many of my favourite bands

- Autumn/Winter 2009: Erasmus in Sofia/Dobrich, Bulgaria for one semester. It was a nice and truly interesting experience. I met many new people and tried new things, bungee jumping among others. I had the craziest parties and the most dangerous situations of my life.

Bulgaria has still many issues to deal with: corruption, prostitution, drugs and organized crime. Somehow it is like the backyard of Soviet Union/Russia. But things are getting better fast. I recommend going to Sofia and Varna. Studentski grad is a crazy part of Sofia where students are living. There you can find high class nightclubs with las vegas style lights, nice bars, concerts etc. You can ask more tips when going there

- Spring/Summer 2010: I went to Beppu, Japan (1250km from Tokyo to south) to study for one semester. It was a fantastic experience and very different from Bulgaria. I feel like I learned a lot about asian culture and life in general. I got many new friends, some from countries which I knew only by name. The university had studenst from 97 countries! I also studied the language super hard.

I really like Japanese culture and society. Westerns would have many things to learn from it. Manners, the respect of others, helpfulness... You can also find such crazy things like talking machines, weird toilets with 'wash your ass' -option, the lack of trash/trash cans on streets etc etc. I wish I can go back soon!

- Now: I just got a job and I can finish the internships related to my studies by working there. I'm also looking for an apartment. My japanese language course will start in 3 weeks. I need to recap everything before.
